Twitter’s Last Gasp
CNN ^ | 11-18-22 | Oliver Darcy

"....A former Twitter executive, who recently exited the company, described the situation to me as a "mass exodus." Asked about the situation, the former executive told me, "Elon is finding out that he can’t bully top senior talent. They have lots of options and won’t put up with his antics."

"They will struggle just to keep the lights on," the former executive added....."

He only owns Tesla and SpaceX. He could make Twitter a very minor subdivision of either one of those and he has plenty of loyal engineers.

If Twitter stays afloat or better yet improves beware the suspicious fire. The Libs will stop and NOTHING to ensure the demise of their once sacred cow.

I read that Musk plans to change Twitter to use as one piece of a larger project.

So maybe he does know what he is doing.

Either way, it couldn't have happened to a nicer company.

This company (if you can call it that) was being held hostage by a bunch of hardcore Lefties who used it as their own private political machine and country club.

Twitter was losing $4 mil a day. With all these useless employees off the payroll, it might be back in the black.

Musk knows exactly what he's doing.

“Let that sink in!” Lol, A Billionaire who speaks pretty much as we all do. He knows the vernacular. Elon has a foot in both worlds.

Everybody is replaceable... These arrogant woke workers who are quitting will quickly come to realize that (but too late).

Musk is smart to limit access as these are also likely the most vindictive sorts of self righteous “former staff”

Good riddance to all of these punks..

First of all, Oliver Darcy is a know-nothing journolist who inherited the piss-stained "Reliable Sources" 'brand' from the firing of Fat Boy. Now Darcy is saddled with a bad brand and yet he has to polish this CNN turd vigourously so Chris Licht doesn't fire his down-low, kneepadded, tired circus act.

Think about that for a moment. CNN=Twitter

And yet here Darcy admits mid-story that the actual takeaway is that the Twitter woke mob who have been curb-stomped by Musk are the actual present, ongoing threats to the success of Twitter:

"Two employees who I spoke to on Thursday whom had decided to reject Musk's ultimatum were quite clear in why they were doing so. "I don’t want to stick around to build a product that’s being poisoned from the inside and out," one said, adding later that he felt god [sic] about making a decision "in line with what I stand for."

And Twitter seemed to grasp the mess on its hands Thursday evening, sending an email to staff notifying them it has once again shuttered all of its offices and suspended employee badge access, presumably to protect its systems and data"

They will. There will be a lot of top talent that Elon will attract to Twitter.

I have a Twitter account and use Twitter 30 minutes daily. It is working just fine except since Musk took over my Twitter feed is not properly weighted to the 40 twitter people that I follow. I can work around this. A minor inconvenience.

I follow people that deal with climate, Ukraine and alternative health

> Twitter’s Last Gasp

Does the media think they can make it true by repeating it?

Before Musk took over, how much of the staff was responsible for running the network, how much for new features, how much for marketing and ad sales (where the money is made on “free” products), and how much on content monitoring and permabans?

We shall have to see, after seeing in the end how that has worked on Trump.

I can’t count the times I read “The Walls Are Closing In On Trump” or some variant.

Every one that I see that left appear to be Indians. Maybe Elon can find some Americans to work at Twitter.

I’m not sure what happens if they have no job on the H1 visa.
