House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced she will not seek re-election as leader of the House Democratic Conference after nearly 20 years at the helm, after her party narrowly lost the majority in the chamber in the midterm elections.
"With great confidence in our caucus, I will not seek re-election to Democratic leadership in the next Congress," said Pelosi. "For me the hour has come for a new generation to lead the Democratic caucus that I so deeply respect, and I'm grateful that so many are ready and willing to shoulder this awesome responsibility."

Nancy won’t be doing as much damage to the country, which she did for more than 35 years....
but....
the majority of America’s enemies within, still remain in power under the democrat party. The democrats won’t be electing a pro-America leader for a long time, and perhaps never.
She needs to retire and do what she is good at; being an annoying, gin soaked bar fly.

Her decision may have more to do with her ability to reject subpoenas to testify while she is a sitting member of Congress. She loses that if she retires or becomes Ambassador to Italy.
I want all her text messages for the last 4 years.
I want all her e-mail messages for the last 4 years.
I want all the phone records of her office for the last 4 years.
I want her husband’s phone records and text messages for the two weeks before and the two weeks after he was attacked.
I want all of the video that was shot by her daughter on 1/6/2021.
I want all 8,000+ hours of video captured by all surveillance cameras in the Capital on 1/6/2021.
And I’m just getting started.
