What have they been eating since the dams were built? Would they rather have inexpensive electricity or salmon? I guess we’ll just have to build more of those butt ugly windmills.

Many years ago our daughter was working on her third grade assignment. It was a diorama depicting traditional Native American housing. A friend who was visiting from Sacramento, California asked if she knew what kind of housing the Pitt River Indians lived in. When she said she didn’t know, he told her that Pitt River Indians apparently lived in abandoned cars.
The buy their food from the grocery store, just like anyone else.
