Joe Biden was grinning like a Cheshire cat. His smug smile won’t last.
The president’s gloating over the mid-term election results will not stop a House investigation into Hunter’s influence peddling schemes that netted the Biden family tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests. And the federal courts have already shut down his student loan forgiveness scam as yet another of Joe’s nakedly unconstitutional abuses of power.
IOW, not holding my breath...

I agree. I don’t think the uniparty has the balls to even try. And if they did, no one would cooperate and the media would accuse them of a witch hunt because everything’s already “debunked”. They’re all a bunch of balless wonders.
They knew from day one the student loan scam would be shutdown but it did its job on election day. Now they have 2 more years to rile the younglings by blaming Trump’s judges for shutting the student loan scam down!
Enough with the probes, hearings, etc. All they are is a waste if money and time.
Just govern, do the job the Constitution says the House is to do.

By doing what? The 50/50 Senate won't be on board and Brandon won't sign anything helpful.
Expose the bastards and bring them to heal.
What probes? The only chance of Biden seeing any probes is if aliens kidnap him.
McCarthy has already said they aren’t going to impeach Biden. So hearings will be like most Republican hearings and investigations -— no matter what they find, it will result in nothing.
You forget the dems still have several weeks to do their dirty work.
I highly doubt Republicans will conduct any investigations. Forget the Senate, that’s lost, and if McCarthy is elected Speaker, there won’t be any investigations there either.

IIRC, Jarrett was part of the Sessions / Huber / Durham was going to Indict Swampers and “Shock the Conscience” with Sean Hannity.
I know that Jarrett screwed up the SCOTUS leak as he maintained it was Fake, and not authentic SCOTUS verbiage.
I think Hannity’s peeps try to gin up ratings by predicting so many things that never happen.

Think about this- the fedgov (democrats) also now has all the direct, personal contact info of the millions of people who applied for the $10k at the website before the program got shut down. They won’t use those communications portals in 2024 to directly message the now disappointed, disgruntled applicants about how the evil republicans screwed them over, right? Nah, never!!
First on the list would be the FBI saying it needs 67 years to screen and release information from the DNC’s IT guy Seth Rich who was murdered, but nothing was stolen and the FBI took his laptop. I think that smells of a huge murder cover-up that goes right to the very top of the Democratic Party and various Alphabet federal agencies.
Speaking of laptops, next the whole contents of the Hunter Biden laptop needs to be investigated, starting with why federal agencies contacted the media to keep stories from being written. Yes, once more the FBI. J. Edgar Hoover used his power at the FBI to blackmail politicians, business leaders, public figures, and judges. Maybe legislation needs to split it up or regulate it so abuse will never again happen.
Another investigation I would like to see at the top of the list is the FBI. In particular their involvement if the kidnapping plot of a sitting mid west Governor by manipulating/creating a “militia group.” Also, the FBI infiltration of the Proud Boys associated with January 6th since that has been such a big Democratic Party talking point. Yes, if they knew there was going to be a riot, why didn't they do something.....or were they trying to make something happen for political reasons? The way the FBI and the DOJ conspired on the Steele report along with the setting up of people trying to advice Trump and bugging the Trump Tower that Admiral Mike Rogers felt obligated to warn him about.
The FBI is way out of control. The whole FISA warrant thing was shown to be badly abused. I would like to see FBI and DOJ officials who use agencies for political purposes to be forced to loose all federal pensions and possibly citizenship. I view what the FBI has been routinely doing as far worse than what Democrats say happened on January 6th. In fact, I view many of the things that the FBI has done treason.
Agree. I also think there are more like 80 Democrats in the Senate.
I believe there will at least be attempts at probes. However once the probes attempt to expose anything important the important witnesses/ papers will be refused with no consequences for those stonewalling as there will be enough republicans voting with the Dems to prevent a congressional contempt finding.
Wake me up when democrats start getting their homes raided and perp-walked out their front door.

Hate to say this, but I think you nailed it. The double-standard will be breathtaking and infuriating.
The one thing it will not be? Surprising. Anybody who’s been paying attention has known all along that there will be no accountability, no matter how big the mountains of evidence are.
