Oddly it was in the Arizona Diamondbacks victory over the New York Yankees in 2001 that a close game decided the series in which a tiny single over the heads of close defenders made the tie breaking run win the final game for Arizona.

In the final game, the Yankees led in the ninth inning before the Diamondbacks staged a comeback against closer Mariano Rivera, capped off by a walk-off, bases-loaded bloop single by Luis Gonzalez to clinch Arizona’s championship victory.

Yankee manager Joe Torre jokingly asked the TV announcers to convey a question to Arizona’s Torey Lovullo asking if he could get a Mulligan for the last play.

He was told “No do overs.”

Not a one. The Republican Elite was in on the steal as much as the Democrats. They could have announced the winner, including the vote count , should they have desired a month before the election was held. The Republicans and Democrats are in cahoots and have been foe decades. Now, they no longer try. But the sheep are still fooled.
