Quite the opposite.
Dems will be overjoyed if DeSantis misreads the tea-leaves and decides to challenge President Trump for the 2024 election.
If DeSantis decides to do that foolish thing, he splits the GOP Electorate and single-handedly hands POTUS to the Democrats.
