He has messed up the football team. He could have killed the dean and 2 heads of departments and had less outrage. The only thing that will keep him off of death row is if he plays the race card but considering the facts that will be a long shot.

I read that he has been charged with second-degree murder (no premeditation), so that takes the death penalty off the table.
