Yes, Pres Trump reached out to folks that no other republican ever did. That wa to talk to other voters. Those voters, sadly, mean nothing compared to Congress, the MSM, the UN, the EU, Walk St, multi nationals, globalists, UNIPARTY hacks. Pres Trump was obstructed by his own party.
