I minored in psychology in college. In one of the courses I took all those years ago, I learned that psychiatrists have a high rate of drug and alcohol addiction, and suicide. I can’t imagine it’s changed much.

I learned the same thing in my college psychology class (early 1960s). Just checked and guess what? Physicians and dentists are STILL at the top of the list re suicides!

Makes sense. A lot of them are nutty anyway. That's why they are in the field in the first place.
