Data analysts from both parties believe the count will eventually shift in Lake’s favor, but it’s not yet clear whether she will pick up enough votes to overtake Hobbs. Republicans have watched anxiously since Tuesday as Hobbs has defied their expectations and increased her lead each day, including Saturday when combined with results from the rest of the state.

Thanks. I get the idea that just as many states need their voting lists fumigated as part of elections reforms, this site probably needs to be fumigated as well of liberal activists posing as doom-and-gloomers.

By all means, lets edify the the head and dead RINO loser. Which he was a loser.

John McCain was a titan in Arizona politics for over thirty years. He never lost an election in Arizona. You don't, in Arizona, if you are running a statewide race as a Republican, tell McCain voters to "get the hell out" of your campaign rally.

Because some of them might actually take your advice.

And now Keri Lake, who was being position as a female Ron DeSantis is fighting for her political future in a state she was expected to win handedly.

I wonder why DeSantis went to Arizona and rallied with Lake and Masters then?

To help them win. Duh.

But DeSantis can't work miracles. There's only so much he can do and after he did what he could, Lake went and stepped in it with her pointless attack on John McCain. Sure, it played well with her MAGA base but Lesson One in politics: When you're running a tight race, you need more than just your base to turn out. Try not to piss everyone else off.

Why are we allowing this “cured” thing? If a ballot isn’t marked plainly, they should be dumped and too bad for the voter. See ya next time.

Because we allow Democrats to pass election laws that give them tremendous advantages.

Totally agree. Too bad we can't also get rid of the non-Troll chronic demoralizers and panicky pearl clutchers.

Kari Lake supports Donald Trump and DeSantis knew she is a Trump candidate when he went there. Trump also backed Desantis in his first bid for Governor when no one else did at the time.

He must have known Lake was a rising star.

This thing is Arizona is just a replay of 2020. It will happen again in 2024.
And McCain will still be dead.

If you think Democrats aren’t stealing this election I have a bridge in Florida that I’ll sell to you.

Which, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa, or the Seven Mile Bridge innthe Keys?

Martyr Made:

https://twitter.com/martyrmade/status/1591562513220775936

People are calling for the GOP to get with the program, but it’s a system that fundamentally favors urban party machines because it’s easier to ballot harvest from an apartment block than it is driving country roads.

Democrats changed the way we do elections in 2020, giving themselves weeks/months to canvas ghettos, nursing homes, etc squeezing ballots out of extreme low-propensity voters who don’t even know who’s on the ballot. It’s a fundamentally different political decision-making system.

Florida is a *supposedly* purple state where none of this is allowed, and we just saw what happened there. GOP state parties should replicate Florida’s rules everywhere they have power, and do what they can make up the difference in states where they don’t.

Biden didn’t even campaign and got 12m more votes and much better turnout than Obama in 2008. He got 16m more votes than Hillary in ‘16, even though Trump increased his vote total by 12m. The idea that this is due to anything but scamming mail-in/harvesting rules is absurd.

Democrats can’t ever allow improvements to election security, because the huge difference in their vote count pre- and post-reforms would beg too many questions. Florida has always been a 51-49 state, but went R+20 once basic election securities measures were put in place.

I think you are probably right about the McCain Republicans here in Maricopa County. There has been no support from the McCain-Ducey group for Kari. I pray Kari can win because this will be a nightmare for Arizona if she doesn’t.

Lots of McCain acolytes in Maricopa County. Open Borders. Cheap Labor. But most of all, like McCain, the state GOP is only in it for their own political power.

If they cannot drive the car, they will derail the car.

I’m not talking about most of the state. And not about most of the Republicans in Maricopa. It only takes 10% of Republicans to create a 3-4 point gap in the outcome. We’re seeing about a 2 point gap.

But McCain Republicans will only vote FOR THEMSELVES. They will not vote “against” Biden or Hobbs. Unlike people who love America (still 90% of the party), who will vote to stop a disaster.

To the State GOP leaders, the only disaster is them losing power.

Doubt me? Which GOP Party leaders campaigned for Kari? Did Robson? The AZ AG went on 60 Minutes the week before the election and called Kari Lake crazy! Where was Doug Ducey? Why were they not FIGHTING FOR Masters and Lake?

Answer? They don’t WANT Masters and Lake!

Whenever the vote count requires more than 2 days, the Democrat always wins.

Imagine that.

You are quite correct. Governor Ducey was confident that the votes were out there to close the 11k gap. I think he probably believed it. In this case I really really want to believe Lake, but the day is getting late and that 36k deficit isn’t closing

Gawd son back away from the bong. That’s getting old. We’ve heard it now for four days and Hobbs’ lead just keeps getting bigger. There are no magic drawer three votes, it’s over. Whether fair or fraud Lake isn’t going to win.

I thought she said she was going to win by 100K and bring Blake with her? Now it’s down to 20-50K and too bad Blake? Noticed we haven’t seen Kari for a while. I’m guessing she’s seen the light.

And that when they are declared the winner in say PA or MI they have no problem getting the votes counted on election day.
