The Problem was the GOP tried to thread the needle of having Trump investigated forever and indicted - and winning two houses of Congress.
There was zero support of Trump in the face of daily false attacks by Jan 6th commission and Media. They let that stand, purposefully.
Outside of three weeks before the Election, there was No Opposition party.
