Notice they didn’t say that “No one remained in the room”.
Well if we weren’t ready to FIGHT after they tore down the statues, or burned cities, or attempted a coup, then ATTEMPTED and succeeded at a coup...then actually got us to stay indoors and also completely change our voting system...we wont fight this time either..

When the statues went down, southerners could have just gone and surrounded the statues while armed..that’s not illegal.

Was he going to hijack every state and strong-arm each one to change its Election Code? POTUS has no power over a state’s rights.
He did attempt to review the issues by having Kris Kobach look at the problem. States basically laughed at him and told him to go away, and he had to stop. If they don’t cooperate, a Fed can’t force them to.

State law may allow extended counting, but I doubt it. The 1997 SCOTUS ruling of Foster v. Love (9-0) stated results shall be published before midnite of Election Day (with exception for <1% runoff race).
