Oddly the Repub Party of FL is on both. They gave him $10 mil and he gave them $44 mil.
If Desantis was a patriot, he would serve out his term as governor and run for President in 2028. Simple. He should learn that history repeated itself and it wasn’t king to Cruz in 2016 when he went against Trump.
He needs to endorse President Trump yesterday because state media is schmoozing him to think he’s their darling. But he’s too stupid to see they’re playing him. He likes all their backscratching. If he doesn’t snap out of it soon, he’s going down.

It seems obvious to me that Trump has heard it through the grape vine that Desantis is seriously considering running for president. And Trump is very upset about that. He feels betrayed.

Hence, the howitzers going off on DeSantis and Youngkin this week.
DeSantis demonstrated poise and restraint when he refused to respond to Charlie's questions. Crist knew the debate rules prohibited asking the opponent questions directly. Not only that, but Crist blurted questions to DeSantis, rather than answering the questions presented by the moderator. The moderator reiterated the rule to Crist at that point. Odd that you don't say anything about Charlie breaking the rules.
If DJT would demonstrate statesmanlike poise and restraint while the mid-term elections are still in process, he would avoid losing so many of his former supporters.
All of the division and angst is coming from Trump himself. It is doubtful that DeSantis is going to run this time, but even if he is, Trump could hold his vindictive remarks until he has an actual rival instead of dividing everyone and hurting the conservative cause.

If Trump decides to run And other non-endorsed non-helped by Trump candidates wanna run by all means go at it. But if you have been helped or endorsed by Trump and are trying to get the nomination behind close doors..then you are cooked! The base will see you as a backstabbing weasel And the base will not turn out! We’ve had enough of RINO backstabbing POS in our party!
He didn’t answer because it was a debate rule that candidates don’t address each other during the debate... which Crist violated with that dumbass question.
