Who will vote for speaker? Just Republicans? Or the entire House?

If it’s the entire House, the Democrats will allow just enough Dems to keep McCarthy in the position. They know what they can get away with, with McCarthy being in the position.

Anyone other than another RINO is a wild card.

For sh*ts and giggles, someone in the House should leak that they’ve been talking to Pres Trump being in the running. I think Pres Trump would go along with it, just for laughs, and watch the Establishment lose their minds.

The entire House.
I doubt any R’s would vote for Cheney.
The only way this works is if there are still disputed races on January 3. D’s drop the disputes and let McCarthy become Speaker.
