JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — An embattled western Michigan library targeted by residents opposed to LGBTQ materials on its shelves has lost most of its funding with the latest failure of the renewal of a property tax millage.
The Patmos Library in Jamestown Township outside Grand Rapids will lose 84% of its $245,000 annual budget after the millage renewal was defeated in Tuesday’s general election.
Unofficial results provided by the Ottawa County Clerk’s Office show 55.8% of voters rejected the 10-year millage proposal.
It also lost in the August primary amid a campaign against LGBTQ materials in the library’s stacks.

Well, darn, I’m just sure those LGBTQXYZ folks will gladly pay the difference.
Local libraries are one thing, however the lightning rod and energizer for patriot parents is when it’s school libraries, from High screwel down to elementary screwel libraries.
Now, there are Screwel Committees that have open public meetings, must accommodate parent comments.
Our library is full of this chit.
When my kid asks me to read a book to her and she brings me one having crap about people poking each other in places that don’t need poking I just say “We aren’t reading that, it’s against our religion.”
Yes, these are in the children’s section.
Seriously I am about to go into a rant here. I’ll try to hold back. But why the sam hell are people putting this garbage into kids’ heads? They don’t even know where babies come from and you’re telling them to stick their wieners in places they don’t belong?

The homosexual agenda-driven, politicized library science schools and library associations schooled the journalists, the school book publishers and all other publishers, the school administrators, school boards, mental health professionals, clergy, physicians, and the kids. Today’s youth barely stand a chance, unless they have grounded parents who properly teach their children right from wrong and why the wrong is wrong.

The local politicians will just keep placing it on the ballot until the opposition loses steam. The article said it was defeated in August but was apparently back up for vote in November.
They’ll get the money in 24 hours on GoFundMe from national leftists.
So the library was willing to risk their funding to maintain these 90 titles.

Article didn’t mention specific books, but I assume it is porn, like the comic book “Gender Queer” and its ilk. I was watching “Connors,” and Darlene’s kid was against “book banning.” Later, Darlene put out posters of those books, including “Gender Queer.” No wonder Roseanne died: to get away from her deviant kid.
