Because f you things properly, there are left and right limits as to what can be done properly
If you use other means, there are no limits as they can make the rules as they go and be selective in applying them.

“Regulators” had a very different meaning during the frontier days.

So, I don’t think the elections will change the fact that EPA has legislative authority or authority provided by the legislature or Congress, to pursue the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to protect public health and protect the planet. If only a Republican-controlled House of Representatives had the balls to not fund the EPA ... Funny how people forget that the HoR controls the purse strings, and by extension the allocation of funding to FedGov and all these out of control three letter agencies.
No money to EPA = No "enforcement" of all this bullshit.
Let them sue in court for their funding, and then let the court try and enforce any ruling.
Use the left's own "rules" against them.
If only we had a Republican-led House of Representatives with the balls to do it ... never happen with Milequetoast McCarthy as Speaker.

Are these “regulators” government? I thought they are civil servants who serve the many individuals of this country? What is government? Who is it? These civil servants can choose to enforce laws or not. At this point in our Republican experiment, these regulators have all the power they could possibly need to out maneuver the politicians and the taxpayers
