With all this back and forth, it makes me wonder why Trump is picking this fight. He’s picking a fight with a fellow Republican ,who is potentially a valuable ally going forward, and who just won to major election victory.
I guess my question to people here would be , do you think it was a good idea for Trump to pick this fight? How does it benefit Trump to pick this fight?

You’re being played. Trump is not picking the fight. Desanctimonius is pretending he’s not fighting but is actually very much using the media and the GOPe to fight Trump. He’s pretending he’s above it all while he gets attack dogs to kneecap Trump. He then pretends he has no idea what Trump is talking about. Trump has been responding to this Repuke.
