Public rebuke by State Department spokesman is first by Biden official aimed at far-right lawmaker Ben Gvir, who is aiming to become next police minister
US State Department spokesman Ned Price condemned the far-right MK Itamar Ben Gvir's attendance at a memorial event for Meir Kahane on Thursday, in what was the first public rebuke from the Biden Administration of the Religious Zionism-Otzma Yehudit lawmaker aiming to become Israel's next public security minister...

It's open season on Israel and the new government to be formed by Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Republicans like Doug Mastriano here in Pennsylvania were the Anti-Semites yeah the Democrats of the Biden Camp have Israel in their crosshairs now.
Kahane is a name I have not heard in a long time. He was from New York and received a long of local media coverage for, I would describe, as apartheid proposals for the 20% of Israel’s Non-Jewish residents. Most of the Jews in New York found him a complete embarrassment to the community.
Regardless the US is cracking down on this man who will be part of Netanyahu’s new government not good diplomacy or good form.
Kahane was praised by Michael Savage.
His 1990 assassination was the first stage of al-Qaeda’s assault on America, followed by the 1993 WTC basement bombing.
First the Saudis and now the Jews. Obviously Joey Softserve never took a course on how to win friends and influence people.
Kanhane foresaw that 20 years of Oslo process
would fail because PLO was at the negotiation
table for welfare aid not peace
Libs in Israel like MS. Livni tried to overcome
the PLO obstruction for years and her career
was over since when the PLO pulled the plug
on the peace process and joined into a partnership
with Hamas she was viewed as a naive failure, and
was never heard from again.
Kahane was right and Israel’s left was wrong
While the Abraham Accords are doing well its
because they don’t listen to Abbas or Hamas
who wasted many years rejecting 97% of what they
said they wanted from Israel. Ohmert, Barak and
Peres were Doves who wanted a deal but also
didn’t know their opposition only would refuse
all peace attempts.
Meir Kahane is one of the greatest Jews who ever lived. That is why his own people killed him.
No, th@t was an Egyptian Arab!
The GOP won 33 percent of the Jewish vote. American Jews are becoming more Messianic and Orthodox, especially young ones.
Nope. Rabin & Co. took him out.
Did R. Kahane start the JDL?

Not sure why the State Department cares about this more than, let's say, guys like El Sayyid Nosair. Regardless of Kahane's views, they were never widely accepted in Israel much less the US. If State is short on things to whine about, how about doing something about these.

Yes, and was murdered in NYC by a terrorist with links to bin Ladin and “Blind Sheik” Omar Abdel-Rahman. Not sure we paid much attention to those folk either. His murderer was acquitted of murder but convicted of assault and possession of an illegal firearm. Not sure how anyone can come to that conclusion. And to my knowledge no charges for shooting the police officer who arrested him.
If I recall correctly, the President before President Brandon had good relationships with rulers around the world. I don’t recall his name, but it seems like he walked into North Korea and shook hands on NK soil. And he lead some sort of Abraham Accords, bringing peace between Israel and the Muslim nations.

Yes he dud. That is part of the reason I don’t criticize the Proud Boys. And now the Proud Boys are being thrown in jail for defending themselves :(
I know from the first hand knowledge of those who knew Rabbi Kahane that he was a gentle and peaceful man. The lies that have been trumped up against him are a disgrace, and the legacy media went along with them, helping to incite the violent attack that killed him and some years later, his son. He did not call for violence against anyone. He did believe that the Jewish people should be able to protect themselves from violent attacks and that the Jewish people have the right to live in peace. He did believe that Israel has the right to undertake population transfer of the type that happened between India and Pakistan, all within the provisions of international law. He was by no means a racist; he was a realist. The many Muslims who live peacefully with their neighbors of various faiths are peaceful neighbors who have peaceful families.
