She is indeed right. Trump hurts more than he helps, especially with nonsense like attacking DeSantis after his massive victory in Florida.
One could take the position that since the media and Party will pillory him, that he may as well throw caution to the wind by and run anyway.

By dividing the party and hitting at DeSantis and his supporters, he confirmed what many consider the chink in his armor.
He’s offended the entire state of Florida....and much of the nation. It’s not too large to make a U turn but he’s damaged himself greatly.
