Third-World Countries have smoother elections than we do.
Canada probably counts as a First World Country (despite Trudeau). I was in St. John’s, Newfoundland (the most easterly place in the country), for a conference once and they had a national election. By late in the evening they knew what the outcome was, how many seats the different parties would have in the next Parliament.
America has become an absurd First World Country with a Third World election system.
Sheesh, we now have a 19th-century election system.
