It’s been a contentious and, at times, a controversial battle between Republican Kari Lake and Democrat Katie Hobbs to become Arizona’s next governor, and no clear winner was projected on Election Night. As of Wednesday morning, the race remains quite close, Hobbs was up 51% to 49%, with 62% of expected votes counted. CBS News said the race had moved from toss-up to “leans Democrat.” Still, early voting trends often benefit the Democrats, who are statistically more likely to vote early or submit absentee ballots.
At 5:30 a.m., Hobbs carried an approximate 30,000 vote lead over Lake, but by 7:15 a.m, it shrunk even more. Latest election returns have Hobbs at a 10,000-vote lead, an immense loss from the over 100,000-vote lead she had late Tuesday night.
Lake was optimistic when she addressed supporters at the GOP Headquarters in Scottsdale. “We are going to win this,” Lake confidently said. She pointed to when she was down double digits early on in the August primary to Karrin Taylor Robson and eventually won. “If we have to, we’ll take this fight through, we will, even if it takes hours or days,” Lake said.

That contradicts what the election official said at the presser. But with Lake’s opponent running the election office.... who knows?
IT’s going to be a steal...IMO
While I agree she is very important, the SOS and AG are also as important. Without Republicans in those positions the Gov will not have as much success in cleaning up the state’s election system.
Other Countries do a MUCH better job with Elections.
WE ARE the USA!!....Someone has to clean this shit up!!!
Remaining ballots (Election Day & Early Drop-offs) are all breaking BIGLY for @KariLake. Just like we knew they would.
That’s what Charlie Kirk has been saying as well.
But what about the Senate seat??
That’d get us to 51!
Like I said. She will die trying. Because that is who she is. And there were more people like her then things would be much better.
According the Arizona SOS office, only Pima county still has ballots uncounted? So I’m wondering what’s going on?

Brilliant jujitsu strategy against the AZ GOP’s election fraud fears. It recognized that many therein didn’t either trust mail-in and earlier than election day ballots to actually be counted or figured that the Rats would just produce fake mail-in ballots to offset the count of any early GOP ballots. So most of them would either vote on election day, or drop off mail ballots at election day sites, thus minimizing feared kinds of cheating. And the largest chunk of GOP preferred to vote in person in the morning before going to work. Meanwhile the left was mostly mailing it in early or could vote in person between the pre- and post-work rushes as they weren’t working. So anything that slowed the flow of pre-work voters could force some folks out of voting lines to make it to work. When the clog was the tabulators and many GOP didn’t trust the system enough to leave their ballot without personally witnessing it be tabulated, that just slowed more folks out of voting. All accomplished by changing an obscure printer setting on about a fourth of the tabulators, a change which may or may not leave any trace or at worst which is under the control of Maricopa RINOs and their preferred boss, Hobbs.
