It seems the same pattern (on a larger scale) as that of a lot of successful businessmen.

Trump values loyalty to him personally too highly. It’s a great trait when you are winning, it is a disaster when you are not.

More than one brilliant and powerful person has been brought down by their ego. Pulling off the incredible 2016 election would be enough to give anyone hubris.

Loyalty is a two way street.

If you have a boss that has your back, it’s a wonderful thing. But when you have to tell him bad news—that’s where the true colors lie.

The best teamwork happens at 11 pm on a Saturday night when you are up against a shit storm. Even though the boss doesn’t do the front line work…they should be there getting the team what they need.

I don’t see that much these days.
