Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) is projected to win reelection after defeating Republican challenger Heidi Ganahl.
NBC News and ABC News both called the race for Polis shortly before 9:30 p.m. ET.
Polis held a double-digit lead heading into Election Day and was the expected winner in the governor’s race.
The Democratic governor touted his first-term achievements on the campaign trail, including the implementation of universal free kindergarten.
In April, Polis also signed into law a bill establishing the right to an abortion without any limitations.
His Republican opponent, Ganahl, had said on the campaign trail that she does not support an abortion except in the case of rape, incest or to save the pregnant person’s life.

Is there any reason to believe “The hill” or dominion voting machines?
I didn’t vote. In this Blue state there’s no point to my voting. The idiots in Denver and Boulder are going to to outvote, so why bother?
It sucks but that’s life and there’s no point in dwelling on the fact fbs vaunted Red Tsunami turned into a Red Mirage.
Everything was close in Red states apart from Florida and I don’t think anything will change even if the GOP regains the House.
The Senate may or may not happen. Yeah, its a disappointment.
Democrats got the close race they wanted. Where is the Red Wave all the pundits were talking about?

Yes, Colorado is a blue state.
Their projection is based on results reports buy the Colorado SOS office. As for the machines, believe what you want.
Bennett also won. The Democrats rule with the help of indies here who lean left.
The Never-Trumper RINO Joe O’Dea just lost the senate race in CO.
He chose poorly.
I’m not at all unhappy. Its good news in disguise.
The GOP here is barely alive. Nothing made me want to vote for them.
Not surprising. Colorado is a lost cause.
Too many potheads.
Always unlikely. At most, this election will be typical. The party in the White House will lose some, but not much, given how close the partisan divide is.
That’s a defeatist attitude, if you’re going down,
at least go down fighting.
I just came back from Montrose. It looked pretty red out there but not many folks.

What prompted Republicans to pick him, I’ll never know. On YT all the commercials were against him and I never saw a pro O’Dea ad.
Never bothered to reach out to base voters. That was evident tonight in the fact he lost.
Those of us conservatives living in red rural counties can’t do much but move on with our lives. I am one of them.
They called it 4 minutes after the polls closed.
