We take the house and senate, these republican bozos need to pass a law making election day, ELECTION DAY.
Thank Johnson “flipped” out along time ago. Maybe he got hit in the head when Guam tipped over because of too many U.S. troops on it.
WE TU LO
“It’s amazing. A far-off outpost of the U.S. is able to conduct an election and report the results on the same day!”
Well consider the time difference they actually started yesterday if you live on the east coast... 18 hours... I think?
“God rest your father. I wouldn’t dare compare my service time to his or to anyone else of that generation.”
My dad, and all his brothers and my mom’s five brothers were all in some heavy combat and they all came out of it on ok, amazing really. They were all in the thick of it in both Europe and the Pacific. A great bunch to be sure.
Think it just did!
Dixon’s Notch of the North Pacific.
You’re not culturally appropriate.
Won Pat now Rost Pat.
Just sayin’
My father was a remarkable man and a wonderful human being. He managed to live to celebrate his 94th birthday despite the best efforts of the Japanese on Guam and later on Okinawa. Sixth Marine Division. Silver star and Purple Heart from Guam and a Bronze star and Purple Heart from Okinawa.
THE FIRST MIDTERM RESULTS ARE IN!!!
Yeah, but not the way Johnson thought it would. I still say Admiral Willard deserves the Cong Medal of Honor for keeping a straight face and avoid laughing in Johnson’s face during that farce of a hearing.
I can tell it's already been a long day. I kept wondering why you would want to give the Admiral a Viet Cong medal, and then I had my Emily Litella moment...
Hank Johnson is outraged!
It happens to the best of us. It’s all good! :)
When I asked my father-in-law where he was on Dec. 7, 1941, he replied that he was getting bombed but not the liquor kind unless the bar was called Schofield Barracks.
Had the scenic tour of SW Pacific Islands including Tinian, Saipan, Eniwetok, possible boy Qwajelin and Iwo Jima, 75th JASCO, USA Signal Corps, attached to one of the Marine task forces. Got his third Purple Heart there. Saw the raising of the American flag on Mt. Surabachi.
They were our Greatest Generation.
Thanks RACPE.
My father was stationed at Mare Island (Vallejo, California) and had gone with a friend to cut down a Christmas tree in the mountains. On the way back when they got to Sacramento they learned of the attack and that they had to get back to the base immediately.
