Middle of nowhere Kansas poll report.
I went about 4:30 pm before the work rush and the parking lot of the local VFW was packed like it was dance night! I was #767 for the day. They checked ID and gave me a ballot slip. I handed the slip to the next lady and they laser printed my ballot right there.
Straight ticket Republican and there were more single races with republican only on the ballot. There wasnt a “HELL NO” circle to fill on the tax levy but I pressed really hard on the ‘NO” circle when I filled it in.
There were probly a steady 20-25 people voting with about a 5-10 minute ID check line. This is what I would call a Red Wave in my neck of the woods. There usually aint this many folks out until pheasant season.
My wife and I were the ONLY voters in the building when we voted late this afternoon in East Tennessee.
