Great to know you came through the storm with electricity and no damage! I declare hurricane season has ended. Harrumph!
My sister lives in St. Pete and some of her family lives in Tampa. Tonight when I asked how she was, she said fine. That she had some wind and rain, but never lost power. Then she said that the “news people said we had winds as much as 200 mph.”
That sounds pretty high to me, and that if true, would be very devastating.
Can anyone tell me if this is true? Did the winds really get that high? I haven’t watched this storm, so I don’t know how bad it was. Was it more than a Cat 2?
