Not taking a side in whether the war was just or right but they did find thousands of chemical weapons that saddam was supposed to have destroyed after Gulf War I, just not newly manufactured ones.
Saddam’s son in law defected to Jordan, in the late 90s and claimed that Iraq was still producing chem, bio and nuclear weapons.
Saddam enticed him to come home, where he was subsequently machine gunned.
After Saddam was captured, Khadaffi gave up his WMDs, including a nuke program, to avoid a fate like Saddam.
He claimed the nuke program was joint Libya / Iraq.
Not enough for the war. They weren’t active weapons.
