Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.

And it’s up to us not to let them.

Look at how angry they become when people speak the truth. They practically foam at the mouth.

All the more reason we must keep doing it.

Who are the advertisers pulling their ads?

If they are against Free Speech, Americans need to know who they are.

Then they can decide if they want to continue buying products from them.

It works both ways.

Same old story, the left can’t win a discussion without shutting down the opposition . . .

Activists, aka: democrats, also tried to destroy FOX News, but, it survived and became the strongest voice in journalism and the advertisers can’t get enough of FOX, and neither can the viewers.

Twitter can become the FOX News of the social media world. Patience and do the right thing. Even democrats won’t be able to stay away, just like they gave up on CNN and MSNBC and now watch FOX more.

Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers

I saw this coming. I thought Musk was nuts for trying to buy twitter. It was never worth anything, let alone 44 billion.

I knew as soon as he took it over, the left would be trying to destroy it. I saw an image posted by Rob Reiner in which he said it's been three days since he left twitter.

The celebrities are going to have a preference cascade and leave en masse. The only reason people pay any attention to twitter is because of celebrities.

This never seemed like a good move for Elon and there is a good chance he just bought a house on fire.

He would have been better off not signing anything which committed him to buy this dumpster fire.

It’s funny to read back when Truth Social was rolling out and folks were swearing off Twitter forever. Now it seems the fate of the free world depends on whether Twitter turns a profit. Musk is a marketing genius.

It's amazing how many geniuses there are on FR giving advice to people worth billions, like Trump, Elon Musk, the richest man in the world.

He should do what made him rich. Have the taxpayers subsidize Twitter just like we've done with Tesla.

Social media is scourge of the earth anyway.

Because the term"Fascism" is so often misused, even tho' in this context it would be correct, let's just say that the left/woke/government/media and corporations have fully embraced "Mussolini Corporatism".

Of course, they have also fully embraced Gleichschaltung but that is a practice that was championed by another socialist to the North.

That’s okay. Once all the pins move on, new revenue will be generated by companies that don’t buy into the woke.

The cancel mob has a very very long list of those they will eternally hate. They add new targets to their list with a fever of reletlntless attacks. But they can’t attack everybody at once. Advertisers will only respect the boycott while the mobs attention is on Musk. When it moves on they will quietly start advertising. They can’t afford to avoid dping business with everybody on the mobs endlessly expanding list. It makes sense to them to just avoid the ones currently focused on temporarily.

This should be utterly unsurprising, and I would have assumed Elon would assume this would be the initial reaction. Let’s see how things look a few months down the road.

([number of twitter accounts] / 2) * $8.00 x 12
- ([entire workforce] * .75 * $100,000)

= net annual profit (before taxes).

Can someone fill in the numbers and due the math?

2 - assumes losing half the twitter account or those who won’t sign up
.75 - assumes 3/4 of the workforce is being let go at a $100K annual salary.
12 - months in a year
