At least once a month I read about a business from Texas opening up shop here in Jax, FL. They’re growing and not relocating. They’re bringing workers with them, too.
Good! Do the adult crime, do the adult time.
Iowa does not have the death penalty, and I don’t believe we can sentence juveniles to life without parole. So not only will we be paying for them the rest of our lives they still get a chance to get out someday.
I am totally OVER lawyers who “DEFEND’ these pukes.

Per the above, both perps are being charged with first degree murder as adults.
But get this...
“...Iowa Supreme Court rulings require juveniles convicted of even the most serious crimes to be given a chance for parole.”
Lovely.
They will be “sweet meat” in prison.
“Everyone has had the experience of a power-tripping out-of-control foreign language teacher that seemed hent bent on teaching those little “gringos” a lesson.”
Not if you test out.
“They will be “sweet meat” in prison.”
He failed Spanish.
He will be graded A+ in prison.
“Miller said he was frustrated over Graber’s teaching methods and how his grade in her class was lowering his GPA”
Well he won’t have to worry about his GPA preventing his admission to Con College.
If they weren’t gay before they get convicted, they’ll be gay by the time they wheel their dead asses out of prison.
I took German as my mandatory high school foreign language requirement so that I could understand the German spoken in the old war movies (and Hogan's Heroes, when they did speak German and not just German-accented English).
I took four years of German in high school and validated two semesters of college German at the Naval Academy, only to sit in confusion when a five-year old little German girl tried to talk to me over the back of her seat on a German streetcar ...
Goes both ways. When I was 19, I worked part-time in gas stations along with other jobs, to financially support myself through college. One gas station I worked at sold the business to a Mexican boss. He brought in his own crew but kept me since not only was I a good worker, but I had learned some Spanish on my own.
Problem was, customers calling on the telephone speaking Spanish too fast and I couldn't understand them. I got fired within a couple weeks. Born and raised here in America, fluent in English, but not good enough!
