First of all, I am a registered R and conservative, MAGA Trumper and in no way desireable for even a single democrat should EVER be elected.

A little clarification;

Pennsylvania has a 2nd degree murder penalty of Life Without Parole . . . in the vernacular, Death By Imprisonment.

It is an unfair (in many minds if you consider what constitutes 2nd degree homicide) sentence many mama's of young boys who were stupid and are now gone forever.

In a nutshell, 2nd degree is a catch-all when a judge wants to make a point, further an agenda or in fact follow the law because 2nd degree is often an open ended charge that doesn't constitute 1st degree, and often the perpetrator is questionably criminal.

Fetterman was one of many politicians that have striven to eliminate the LWOP charge and his efforts to get questionably guilty felons an opportunity to have a second chance.

I myself am 74 years old but in 1969 I became a felon . . . forever barred from owning the guns I lost in a boating accident by just a few months after passing the GCA of 1968.

Fetterman has so much more wrong with him, and is being seen as incapable of serving, but the releasing murderers is a comment not entirely in context
