1) A lot of the newcomers to Florida now are Leftugees. We used to just get Leftist Yankees who came to Broward county from New Yaaaak/Joissey for their last few years before they died. 2) The younger generation of Cubans briefly flirted with voting Democrat but the hard hard left turn of the Democrats, the censorship, the weaponizing the law enforcement agencies etc showed them that everything the older generation said about how Leftists impose dictatorship was true. They swung back hard to the right. 3) a lot of Venezuelans have now been in the US long enough to become citizens. They HATE the commies with a purple passion. They're 100% Republican. 4) the transgender ideology and pushing sex in schools runs directly against the culture of pretty much all of the various Hispanic groups - who celebrate traditional families, masculinity, religion, etc. The whole idea of them accepting that "Manuel" could decide to become "Isabella"......uhhhh HELL NO. For these reasons, Republican registrations are massively outpacing Democrat registrations in Florida.
