“They’ve duped us too many times before. If we don’t keep pressuring them the only thing they will produce are excuses.”

That’s true; however, we are going to be battering our heads up against one major roadblock, and that is the fact that demented, corrupt Joe Biden will still be President for 2 more years, and he is sharpening his veto pen and can still issue rules and regulations galore from now until he is either impeached, leaves office because of health reasons, or otherwise is removed from office.

If Uncle Joe (they called Stalin Uncle Joe) is removed in some manner, then we are stuck with Kamala, and if something happens with her, oh horror, we are confronted with a President Pelosi, although she will retire for fear of corruption charges and no longer having the power of her Speakership to wield.

So miracles will not occur, but we can slow much legislation down by the power of the purse in the House. And if we win the Senate, by control over appointments and by investigations of all of the corruption to get rid of as much of it as possible and expose this Dem corruption to the populace for all to see.

The true coup de grace will have to wait for 2024, when we get rid of this puppet Commie President and replace him with President Trump who knows well now, as will his appointees and a Pub run Congress, where all the bodies lie.

Bottom line, if any of us think that there will be major changes in legislation that has already been passed by the Dems and/or RINO’s in Congress, then that is wishful thinking.

Practically speaking, we must slow down any further damage by the Biden regime to a crawl and fund nothing the President/Dem stoolies come up with during the next 2 years until we can once again install a Pub executive branch to clean out the rest of the Swamp.

Excellent, well thought out reply.

I especially agree with your point that “Biden will still be President for 2 more years, and he is sharpening his veto pen and can still issue rules and regulations galore from now until he is either impeached, leaves office because of health reasons, or otherwise is removed from office”.

My own view on this is that things could actually get worse over the nest two years. Here’s five reasons why:

1) I believe Biden will double down on the use of executive orders and/or administrative dictates. He will defy congress in every way he can.

2) The GOP (McCarthy) has already taken impeachment off the table (is anyone surprised?). Even if he had not the GOP is too feckless and weak to have done it anyhow, regardless of how egregious Biden’s actions might be.

3) The GOP, in its own classic way, will once again revert to excuses when it comes to stopping Biden. They will use the ole “we need more seats to stop him” BS, or simply say that “if we just wait he’ll soon be gone”. With the GOP you can always count on hearing excuses.

4) Its clear to me that McCarthy has no concrete plans to reverse the damage. His Commitment to America is all vague BS intended to fool people into believing he has a plan of action. Also bear in mind that McCarthy’s alter ego, Paul Ryan, will still be the puppet master — the de facto Speaker if you will.

5) Republicans by and large are terrified of media criticism. The first sign of that causes an immediate retreat from any attempt to push back on the Democrats.

I could go on and on but the central point is that a lot of people are going to be disappointed once again with a GOP majority and their expectations for stopping Uncle Joe. In fact, things will likely get worse because of Republican reluctance to do everything in their power to stop him. We’ll hear lots of rhetoric, but there will be little in the way of real effort to assert the full range of their legislative powers.

In any battle its always a question of will. Those with the greatest will to win usually do. The Republicans don’t have a very good track record of fighting. Just saying.
