“The cops smashed the glass to gain entry.” That is a lie. IF you see the photos of the back door, the glass was lying outwards from the house, as if someone had broken it trying to get out of the house, not in.

As a former criminal investigator, where the glass is laying doe not indicate the direction of the break in. You have to remove a portion of the broken pane from the window frame and look edge on. You’ll see a 90 degree fracture that points to the direction of the impact.
