Now you’re reading into my comments but you’re not reading all of my comment. I said ONE of the factors is or could be Ritalin... I understand all the other factors mentioned.
Let me be clear, then: In no way do I believe or even respect any opinion that Ritalin could cause kids to turn gay. That’s the sort of thinking that Monty Python made fun of with the witch they wanted to burn in the Quest for the Holy Grail. There is no single, reliable test for ADD, so there is a very definite possibility of misdiagnosis or inappropriate prescriptions, especially given that doctors set themselves up to be salesmen for doctor-shopping parents.
But Ritalin is a real drug for a real problem. It was used for other purposes way back in WWII, without turning U.S. soldiers gay.
