Good scene in What's Up, Doc had the John Hillerman character who ran the fancy hotel browbeating the Sorrell Booke private detective character.
"What's the matter with you? You're my house detective in this hotel and you can't even pull off a simple room burglary.
"I'm deeply ashamed."
