I was thinking the same thing. Crime is rampant, and it’s rampant in part because of the corruption of the judicial system by the politicians. No one gives a rat’s ass when members of the general public are victims of crime, but someone touches a member of the ruling class and all hell breaks loose.
Seems we need a better class of 'elites'... or a system of Government that treats all citizens the same. Maybe like a form of Justice represented by a woman wearing a blindfold so she can't see the status, color or religion of the citizen before her. I know this much - the perp who hammered Paul Pelosi will NOT be out on bail before Paul's out of the hospital. He would be if he had done the same to one of us.
