Yes,it would be a big plus if New York State had a decent Governor.If he won maybe he could use his emergency powers to take direct control of NYC....the NYPD and the DA's office for example.

OTOH,my state (the Gay State-Massachusetts) will be electing a filthy bull dyke Maoist as Governor who's famous for,among other things:

1) When recently asked what advice she had for women and girls who don't like having males in the ladies' room,her response was "hold it".

2) During the Rat Party's Summer of Love (2020) she said: "Yes,America is in flames...but that's how forests grow".

If Zeldin is elected I just might come to envy the residents of the State of New York.
