President Joe Biden claimed Thursday that gas was over $5 a gallon when he took office in January 2021.
“Today the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over five dollars when I took office,” Biden boasted.
Gas was only $2.39 per gallon when Biden took office.

I’ve been keeping a log of my truck’s fuel consumption since I bought it in 2015.
On 1-21-21, I paid $2.27 per gallon here in Colorado.
Contrast that with the $1.85 per gallon I paid on 12-12-20.
