Sorry to tell you, but nobody was transported to camps or ghetto-ized. There were no gas chambers for the anti-vaxers. You just couldn’t enter public buildings and the like.

LOL. You've got to be kidding. "... and the like?" Why don't you list all the places unvaccinated Israelis weren't permitted to go without their Green Pass ... restaurants? gyms? theaters? synagogues?

I suspect you didn't see the "ghetto" because you had a Green Pass and didn't give a sh!t about your fellow residents with the "digital yellow stars" they had to wear while huddled in their homes.

Israel as founded is a colony.

It is running into the same issues as all modern colonies have done. What to do with the aboriginal inhabitants.

Politically, she is on very shaky ground as the BRIICS, EU, and Asian countries line up against her.

GMAFB. I didn’t get jabbed because nothing was open anyway, gyms, synagogues, restaurants (except for takeout). When at last they opened the mikvah (ritual bath house), I got my green card and was happy for it, because a mikvah is part of my work requirements. You cannot hand write a Divine name without it, and since I write Torah scrolls for a living, I went and got jabbed twice and then boosted twice. I was one of the last to do it, and I normally stay home anyway and was recovering from radical bone surgery, and in my little town of Neveh Daniel, I could walk in the park and nobody would say “boo,” as could all other residents. A physical therapist came to visit me, and get me back on my feet again, but she’d have to wear a mask. As a patient, I did not. We’d all have to wear masks in the grocery store. BFD. I detested the things. But that’s not a “yellow star of shame,” just a concession to a stupid regimen of stupidity.

I don’t pretend to know what you went through in Alberta. Don’t presume to know what the situation was in Israel. The news isn’t just maliciously fake. Even with the best intention in the world, it’s also ignorant, as, I regret to tell you, are you.

Foreign Policy mag, eh.

The magazine cites hard facts. Specific deals, names, figures.

Think it's all made up?

And when did China recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel??

So what? The capital's location is just one issue.

So China doesn't bow to every Israeli wish. So what? Neither does Israel accede to every Chinese desire.

Even so, Israel and China have close business ties.

I doubt China cares so much about Israel's capital that it would pressure Australia about it. China has other priorities.

I used to admire Australia. But the last few years have been shocking in their government’s turn to the dark side.

Imagine that ... bowing to the edicts of Caesar just so you can walk into a religious place of worship and carry out the rituals of God.

I don't think we even belong on the same website. I live in a country (the U.S., not Canada) that overthrew the government over far less sh!t than that.

Really? So what were you doing to oppose Brandeau? Did you support the truckers? Did you have your bank account ceased?

These were not the “edicts of Caesar”. At the time, everyone thought the vaccines were a good thing. And a mikveh is not a place of “worship”. It’s a small indoor pool with some showers to wash with. I was skeptical of vaccines, but did research and it seemed ok, so when there was a mikveh to go to, that required the jab, I got jabbed twice, as required, like everyone else already had. No big deal. Later, they wanted boosters. Also no big deal. I got one booster. I got another booster. If they want a third booster, I’d tell them to GFTS, because enough is enough. When despite the four jabs, they started mask Karen-ing, I openly mocked the Karens, to the applause and laughter of everyone else on the light rail.

Now what did you do to combat the outright tyranny of pretty boy Brandeau?

I think you got lost on the way to a different forum. You don’t seem to be aware of FP’s reputation. As for “hard facts”, that is argumentum ad verecundiam given the context FP is using and the opinions it published, particularly that of Michael Oren who contributes to The New Republic of all rags.

The left in this country is letting Red China do similar things, particularly with respect to buying up large swathes of land and having CRRC build commuter rail cars, ad nauseam. Does that constitute the USA being “close allies” with Red China, as you accused Israel of being with them?

I said Israel had close business ties with China. I did not say they were allies.

I stand by my statement.

Some people are hypersensitive when it comes to Israel. Merely pointing out close business ties (a fact, per the examples cited) constitutes an "accusation."

Sorry for misquoting you; but anyhow, your original phrase was “close relations”, which implies an alliance (one of the synomyms of “relations”). And now you change to “business ties”, which the USA also has with Red China, but does that translate to “close relations” too?

Criticism of conclusions translates to hypersensitivity? In what universe?

Maybe I just misunderstood you. I was responding to this particular item in your prior post:

This really has me baffled:

Now what did you do to combat the outright tyranny of pretty boy Brandeau?

Who is "Brandeau?"

Who’s “Caesar”? You know damned well who Brandeau is. Trudeau!

Explanation of prior post. You write a Torah scroll, or a Mezuzah, Tefillin or other holy writing for ritual purposes, by hand on parchment. If you are writing a Divine name, such as the Tetragrammon, you must first be immersed in a mikveh (pool of water; this is where baptism comes from). The mikveh was closed for months, so I could only write scrolls that did not have the Divine name on them, the only one of which is the Scroll of Esther, popular among consumers around the holiday of Purim. So if I wanted to continue my Torah scroll and to write more Mezuzot, I needed access to a mikveh, which was closed. Finally, the men’s mikveh in Neveh Daniel was open, so I could go to it on a daily basis, provided I was jabbed. So I got jabbed. No great big deal. I was reluctant, but not opposed at the time. Now I would be opposed, because the scales previously in my eyes have dropped, and I see through these frauds and have had enough!

Now what did you do to support the truckers in Canada, or to get your local church opened. I’ve given you all the details from my end, simply because I have nothing to hide, your willy nilly use of the term “Nazi” makes me angry, and your tone of righteous indignation over nothing in particular is getting on my nerves. So your turn.

Truckers. Church closings. Other blatant abuses of power by M. Brandeau de Ottawa. What did you do to make a stand, since you put me on trial.

I am not a Canadian, and I don’t live in Canada. In this regard, your posts have been baffling to me.
