China probably has not forgotten the US bombing their embassy in Belgrade....
You are right, methinks, and I have been saying pretty much the same thing for awhile on these boards, but many just snooze on by such mentions.

Way to many here are spoon fed, spoon fed western MSM. They never bother to read or seek non western news, I find India very fair and balanced.
To many forgot about Trumps warning about fake western news, do remember, many bought into the media’s fake Covid news hook line and sinker. Best for them to get off the corrupted western media liquor bottle, they are in for one hell of a hang over.
I read a paperback once, can’t recall the title, where the Russians and the U.S were at war with China. The Russians took so many Chinese pow that moving them, containing them, feeding them and clothing them, that the Russians bowed out of the war. Don’t know if the chinese would sacrifice half their population though. Chinese mothers are pretty protective, given the small family size allowed.
.
Yes Sir, pretty much indicated the very same the other day:
We got two Ukraine-related docs

Ever noticed how the sources often utilized by the peddlers are the very same sources that if they were not articles about ‘gospel truth’ concerning Ukraine would otherwise be shredded and torn apart by many within FR, but because they are about Ukraine, are just left to stand alone as if they were the gospel truth?

Right now, China has an enormous surplus of adult males with no hope of finding a female mate to marry and have children with. The Chinese One Child policy caused this.
SoConPubbie... DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER! “Biden and Company so need a nuclear conflict to stop the Red Tsunami coming their way with the 2022 elections!”
I understand your point, but look at what China’s mothers
are allowing to happen to their children today.
China has such tight domestic control over it’s territory,
I’d be hard pressed to see any bright light at the end of
this tunnel.
Look, people could spontaneously combust in protest, but
I don’t know how they could overcome the power the
government would happily escalate to combat that sort
of thing.
Would love to see things along those lines, but I would
not like to see massive destruction to problematic
population centers at the hand of the government.
Agree. Very difficult to overcome such a well entrenched dictatorship. Which is well entrenched, in no small part, by western governments and business. Tiananmen and Hong Kong show how ruthless the commies can be
Fresh from the western MSM: “ Russia is collapsing, they’re out of missiles, millions are fleeing Russia and Ukraine will March on Moscow any day now”
And a reason chinese mothers might not tolerate losing their only child in vast numbers
“How can this be possible when Ukraine is winning the war?”
If that were actually true, that just might be the problem.
I agree, and believe me, I trashed the idea to open up
economic free trade with China as loudly as I could. It
was defended here on this forum, and my predictions have
all come true.
Puhlease.
You called it.
Thanks Long Jon No Silver...
Ukraine ping
Maybe they’ve awakened to the threat of Chinese dissidents gaining useful military training and combat experience in a foreign conflict.

The biggest elements are probably learning to finance, equip, train and lead an armed force. All of these factors are in play in some fashion in Ukraine, given the nation’s relatively low income per capita and skimpy, poverty-driven defense budget. Over a century ago, many of the men who led the efforts against China’s last titular emperor received their training in Japanese military academies.
Ukraine is risky as a training venue, but learning to fight there is probably way more useful to any would-be rebel than a formal stint at Sandhurst or West Point would be. Many of Ukraine’s war leaders, including the recently-departed leader of the Carpathian Sich, interact very closely with the rank and file, with funds and equipment not forthcoming from governmental sources being acquired through appeals for private contributions.
In other words, not materially different from what George Washington did to organize the American Revolution. It’s not rocket science, but does require a good deal of ingenuity, creativity and sheer gut-it-out tenacity. Easy to parrot for a test at some academy, but not so easy to implement in the field.
Part of CCP's colonization plans, particularly in Africa.
I think the chicoms know the Russians are coming.
Agree. Very difficult to overcome such a well entrenched dictatorship.

Referring to the corrupted little beggar Zelensky, I assume?
When I was in Moscow a few years back, training Ivans, all held Vlad in high regard. Today, he still enjoys a 85 percent plus approval rating. He is much like Trump, strong, does what he says, and puts his citizens first.
Talked to a close friend last week who just got back from St Petersburg, no shortages, full shelves ( cheaper than post war- inflation down), plenty of gas, busses Metro running fine, partying ( to much), the Ukie war woes undetectable….but then that is St Petersburg, probably not indicative of Russia as a whole.
That said , getting to Russia is a pain, EU to into Turkey, Istanbul to Moscow- or Finland then bus/ train to St Petersburg.
Don’t believe the western BS about regime change, Russian economy collapse, etc….let’s not make comparisons to Ukraine or Germany, England, etc at this time- they made their bed years ago. Blind, Dumb, Defiance and emotions does not win wars.
