I want those horns so bad, I was surprised to learn they have been in the little park by my house.

Russia will remain a serious national security concern for the US because of its nuclear arsenal and conventional and cyber capabilities—and because of the U.S. commitment to NATO, (currently locked in a tense standoff with Russia) in close proximity to its heartland. Putins not going to let Ukraine become an open porthole into Russia.

BTW......Understanding Russia’s/Putin’s perspective is not the same as accepting it.

It’s becoming more likely that Xi will get the parts of Russia he has had his eye on. Most likely for financial compensation…but maybe something stronger once Russia’s military has been drained. Xi won’t incur the wrath of the West for doing so, unlike expansion into Taiwan.

With due respect, China's population is crashing too much for them to invade northward and settle Russian territory with its very nice gas fields. Taiwan is a more attainable prize. Though the CEO of TSMC has made strong hints that he will self destruct their chip fab if China invades. This is the world's #1 chip fab. Thank God they - TSMC is building chip fabs here too. Arizona I believe. Intel is doing the same. Ohio also. This is one thing the Biden regime got right, along with the Dems dominated Congress.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited https://tsmc.com

We need these top level chip fabs far, far away, and right here, far away from Xi's China and its intimidation garbage and/or invasions of Taiwan.

No doubt Putin knew there would come a time US and International leaders would not continue to support all the aspects of Ukraines conflict - nor the costs of rebuilding that Zelensky wants the world to pay for - especially in light of the instability of the worlds economies in most nations.

Now Ukraine has become a metal grave-yard for all of Russia’s older military equipment strewn along it’s cities and countryside. I suspect he planned it that way.

Zelensky’s been nothing more but a figurehead ‘salesman’ - I would never consider him a leader anymore than I would Biden.

I can imagine how that works in practice:
Captain Boris: Fire the Shahed!

Private Ivan: Captain, I cannot! I do not have cell service here so I am not sure which red button to push. The Iranian squiggles for launch and auto-detonate look so similar to me!”

Translation is on-the-fly in real time. It’s been available for over 7 years.

It requires an internet connection — which is not always assured in a combat zone.

“Elon Musk placed temporarily on notorious Ukrainian kill list”

Not anymore Clownski. Not that he ever was. Elon is now saying he will pay the 200 million per year for Ukraine to have internet access via his satellites.

Guess what. I understand Putin’s perspective too. The difference is that I say he can go to hell for invading Ukraine. Putin sends innocent Russian men to die in his egomaniac wars. All for nothing.

“ With due respect, China’s population is crashing too much for them to invade northward and settle Russian territory with its very nice gas fields.”

That’s the only thing you said where we might disagree.

A Ukrainian depleted Russia would be very tempting. Yes, China COULD just, with a nod and a wink, say they’d be happy to pay for the land.

But this is just complete imagination on my part.

The 3 new world order stooges. Dennisw. Cronos and Belin Freeper. Do you hang out in the same office at the U.S state dept. Or is it Langley.

And I can name three more who are equally as obnoxious. One’s a mom with an AOL account, one’s a timber snake and one’s on speed and not really in Texas. 😏

I have looked at the maps. The Russian gas field that has a pipeline going into China. This is 2000 miles north of the China-Russia border. So this can be taken, invaded, seized by China under favorable circumstances. The various Russian “Stans” are not sending conscripts to Putin’s war. China is wisely sucking up to them. If they break away some more, this will help any Chinese moves to take Russian territory.

In the planning stages is another Russia to China gas pipeline. But from a different Russian gas field.

As I said, it’s complete conjecture on my part.

But keep in mind Xi royally screwed Putin when asking him to wait to start the invasion until the Olympics were over. That brought “General Mud” into the party.

Which made a huge difference in the early days.
