Liermann told the court he got a good look at the driver of the SUV – describing him in detail. Liermann then talked about how the SUV drove right through the Catholic Community of Waukesha group on the parade route.
"When he drove through that group, he struck many of them, run over. I could see people come out from under the vehicle," Liermann said.
Liermann told the court he never saw the vehicle slow down, never saw brake lights, and never heard a horn honking from the SUV.
"There was no panic, no distress. It seemed to me like he was excited about what he was doing," Liermann said.

This will be the last time in his life he'll ever get the chance to address — or even be seen by — "polite company." The last time he'll get to be surrounded by (or probably even see) wood paneling, carpeting, climate control, computers, comfortable chairs, etc.
When this trial is over, he'll never experience such things again, for the rest of his life. He'll disappear into the prison system, and be completely forgotten. Except by those who wish they could forget him, and spend the rest of their lives trying to forget him.
Well, I say "never." Not completely sure of that anymore.
Interestingly enough, there are a large contingent here on FR who think that lawyers are not necessary and that their bad legal takes are the law.
He's playing for posterity on social media. He's also building his cred for his soon-to-be total prison immersion experience. He thinks that getting in whitey's face will bring him some respect in the joint. I'm no expert on that, but from what I've seen in true crime videos, it will make no difference.

Why? Why is the judge allowing this bi-polar, murderous fool to act as his own attorney? He cannot possibly be objective and he should recuse himself.
This is an indulgence, a case of bending over backwards to ‘be fair’ to the accused; producing a vulgar circus for all.

Lol, we are too. My wife has tried to strangle him through the TV many times now. What an idiot his guy is. He has no clue what he is doing with defending himself. His questions don’t even make any sense.
The judge has the patience of a saint, but also probably pounds a couple shots every evening.
After a day with him like that I would have to too.
