🇺🇸 “Actually biolabs per se are not the problem. Forensic laboratories are biolabs.”

There are absolutely unimaginable molecular biological and genetic dual purpose weapons research projects as dangerous, or really on par, or as dangerous as nuclear weapons, and there are over a dozen countries capable of such.

However, Russia has long possessed the most developed, rounded, and closed bio weapons R&D, and stockpiled superstructure globally. And in two new phases, beginning in the late 1990’s, it is getting far more dangerous.

That being acknowledged —

Amazing how many people today are off-the-charts just stupid.

Many community colleges, and nearly every college and university in the world have “bio labs”, and both teach and conduct various levels of research.

You are absolutely correct in your statement.

As well, any drive from North to South from Estonia to the Balkins, will reveal dozens of previoisly significant CCCP biological labs, some of which really were involved in weapons development, or were very dangerous. However, as you drive, these have all been converted to civilian commercial purposes.

It’s still disturbing to a degree, but nearly all of these now have big signs telling who they are now. A big one is *Bayer in Eastern Europe. But there are many companies.

Some facilities are no longer “BIO” at all really, and have been converted to “Chemical”, now producing paint and coatings, plastics, synthetic rubber and other commercial materials, and myriad other products.

Some are still “bio” labs, with significant capabilities, but not purposed for weapons.

People in the West are simply historically illiterate and ignorant, and therefore often more capable of believing lies than believing reality.

And we are talking supposed conservatives here, so just sad.

I’ve actually been in biolabs used for research.

One of them was involved in testing for adverse effects with a drug being developed for early onset Alzheimer’s.

Another was being used to evaluate nimesulide - an alternative to paracetamol and ibuprofen that works a lot faster but can cause liver damage and adverse effects with pregnancy if overused.

It’s still widely used in eastern Europe and Russia. It’s never been submitted to the FDA for approval.

What makes me lol is, one of tge biolabs Russia kicked off about is one of the locations used for the evaluation of the safety of that medicine - there’s no point ONLY doing the research in one lab; it needs to be carried out globally not least that it seems certain ethnicities and genetics play a part in the severity of adverse reaction.
