It’s one thing to tolerate something, it’s another thing to embrace it and even promote it, which a lot of churches are doing in the name of “compassion”. But it’s a sick type of compassion.
Most “Christians” are afflicted with the disease of “pathological compassion”. It’s very destructive to both the recipient and society as a whole.
A great example of this is the “homeless” (ie druggies) crises exacerbated by all the “compassionate” programs, whereas a good dose of tough love would work so much better for all involved.
