Given that "Billmon" appeared to vacate the Internet well before 2008, it's fair to say that "Moon of Alabama" no longer exists solely to discuss their work (especially since searching for his name shows that as late as 2014, some of the posters are talking about how most of the people from the billmon/Whiskey Bar days are no more).
It would be sort of akin to treating Free Republic as though it hasn't changed since the Bush years, where people would get regularly zotted if they dared to question the Administration or GW's conservative bonafides.
