One reason may be because Republicans are on balance older than Democrats.

Could it be that Republicans live longer than Dems and that COVID/vaxx attacks elderly?

Couldn’t read the entire article because of the paywall but it is interesting the time period noted was March 2020 to December 2021. How can you ascribe the reason to vaccine hesitancy when it includes a lot of time when the vaccine wasn’t even available?

some researchers say mask use and social distancing were bigger factors. I thought the CDC admitted that mask use and social distancing didn't really work. How could they be factors in this study?

Why did they focus on Ohio and Florida?
Lets see the comparison study of Covid deaths in New York. Or Illinois. Or Massachusetts.

“Average excess death rates in Florida and Ohio were 76% higher among Republicans than Democrats between March 2020 and December 2021”
1- why did they stop counting 10 months ago? Numbers don’t work in their favor.
2- did these people die of the Kung Flu?? Or did they have the Kung Flu when they died.

On the other hand, Democrats are more likely to die of AIDS, Monkeypox, drug overdoses, suicide, cardiac arrest, gunfire, and capital punishment.

The way a county votes isn’t the same as counting the victims by party affiliation.

The largest political group in America is comprised of independents, also designated as unaffiliated in some states.
Nothing about them?

When a death certificate is completed do they ask what political party the person is a member of? This whole story is bogus.

This “study” is likely manipulated data, and entirely bull, ginned up to prop up rates of acceptance of the gene therapies (so-called “vaccines”).

It’s statistical slight-of-hand. If you died within two weeks after your vexxationation, you were automatically counted as undemocratated.

Maybe because Dems in majority Republican counties don’t march so much in lockstep with the hive? I can have theories, too.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
This is a completely phony “study.”
Their biggest donor is the NIH. Unbelievable!
“According to the NBER, they are funded by grants from government agencies, private foundations, by corporate and individual contributions, and by income from the NBER’s investment portfolio. The largest donators currently are the National Institute of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Social Security Administration, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.[7] In 2015, NBER’s annual revenue was about $33 million.”

Why FL and OH?
Why from March 2020 (pre-”vaccine”) to only December 2021?
