It has helped several bad actors establish moral (yes, moral, it has several meanings, including all psychological effects) supremacy over several societies. They terrorize the local people, break down local institutions, drive the “good” people to flee to some safer place (like Middle Eastern Christians), disgust and demoralize the western public, A Satanic tactic in support of depraved systems, but effective.
But there are many other Satanic tactics besides this.
