Mitch and McCarthy will still be in leadership positions next year. The party refuses to install new leadership. Pathetic.
I guess I don't understand the mafia-like inner workings of politics at the House and Senate leadership level. It would seem that those people could be changed out on a whim, or a shift in national mood -- like in the parliamentary countries.
So do you think it's because it's kinda feudal (where everybody owes fealty to someone else)? Or do you think it's because the old crony higher-ups "have something" on everybody else? Or is it both, or neither?
Over my head for sure. But it's been pissing us conservatives off for too long.
