I would say some is definitely faked to match his perception of how a dementia victim would behave or act but enough is real to make the situation not only embarrassing but potentially dangerous. He makes bizarre mistakes but can be coherent, even if reading a teleprompter, certainly which is beyond the capacity of a normal Alzheimer’s patient.

My mother went through Dementia. I highly doubt it was a fake. She would have moments of absolute clarity then be off into the ozone a few minutes later. With enough drugs, a level of clarity can be achieved, but the decay does not stop.

Ever notice that Joey’s moments of clarity don’t last as long as say 3-4 months ago?

I think you miss hit on an awfully good, bittersweet, almost accurate estimate, a close distance from the truth of why Biden grows smaller every day.

Maybe Karine Jean-Pierre can clear this up.
