2035 1/2 tops
Just don’t sell Doyodas in California.
They need you more than you need them.
They will be selling lots of 2033 and 2034 gas powered Toyotas.
Tell them to take the train. 🚂😎✌
Good for California because obviously California is responsible for all the global warming in the world and by eliminating new gas powered cars, the earth will cool down and all life will be saved and it will be utopia.
Now does anyone believe for one second that’s what they actually think will happen or the more obvious answer which is they are hellbent on destroying the US economy? I’m going with destroying the US economy.
im ok with that
Cars will be a lot cheaper without the demand of Californians. LOL
Yes. See my tagline.
Desantis:Come to Floridan where you can drive!
Toyota ought to crank up parts production. IMO new car sales will tank, older vehicles will need parts.
THW California.
Population there will be dropping.
FE
It seems Toyota doesn’t decide to build a car unless there is a business case. They still don’t see a business case for electric. They have one for hydrogen on a limited scale, mostly for research into fuel cells, and to have a leg up in case things go there. But electric? not yet.
Difficult? Eff’n impossible and unaffordable.
I predict that auto stealerships on the border in AZ,NV, and OR will do well on this.
California will soon be known as The Blackout State.
That will be in addition to its current titles of
The Mudslide State
The Wildfire State
The Water Shortage State
The Riots State
and The Smog State.
As with fossil fuels, how could a company risk losing all their money on a dead end deal with a finish date? They have to look at long term financial gain, not this year only.
Putting a death date on gas cars means they will be like the dwindling discontinued models that go on the back lots of the dealers for people who can’t afford the trendy cars. Maybe slap a new tax on gas car owners for hurting the climate. And the Dems will make sure no new gas stations or even allowing old ones to get gas deliveries will make owning a gas car like having a pre-catalytic converter car. A struggle.
Just as vhs and then dvd rentals were dwindling would Blockbuster have signed new 10 year leases as shopping strips?
Politicians , what do they know ,LOL
Because nobody over here will speak up.
This will be interesting If the rat states join CA which they claim they will the question will be: Will be the car makers be willing to make cars they can only sell in half of the states or they will go all EV so they can sell the cars they do make in every state? The answer is not simple.
